How we help.
We strive to empower all school children and vulnerable adults to resist abuse by learning.
In response to alarming figures of reported rapes and teenage pregnancies in South Africa, we have set up a prevention program against sexual offences.
Our aim is to empower all school children and vulnerable adults to resist abuse by learning self-protection and how to stand up for themselves.
Through the establishment of strong partnerships in schools and in the community, IPM responds actively to three inter-related threats to education in South Africa:
• Gender Inequality
• Violence in schools and within the community
• HIV and AIDS
